We are about to start a 2000 to XP upgrade (not a format/install).
Unfortunately we just encountered a bug that only seems to affect some
systems, no consistancy has been linked between the systems. The
problem is accessing the add/remove programs applet in the control
panel. When trying to open an error is returned with the title
"Parser" and the msg box says "value creation failed" at line 451".
From what I have found this seems to be due to the themes (how & why I
dunno). For the pilot upgrades it seems to be afecting only half of
them. The themes for pilot upgrades only contain the XP classic
theme, the default theme when performing a clean install of XP is not
available. I attempted to copy & replace the themes folder from
C:\windows\resources\ to the upgraded computer and apply the theme but
this did not work. I also replaced the uxtheme.dll & themeui.dll on
the malfuntioning systems and reregistered the themeui.dll but to no
avail...

bilgisayarımı win2000'den xp'ye yükseltecektim (format atmadan veya kurulum yapmadan)ne yazık ki yükseltme programındaki bir bug yüzünden yüzünden sistemin kimi özellikleri çalısmıyor yani sistemde birbirine girmis durumda problem ki seninkiyle aynı- parser....,sonradan anladım ki sorun temalardanmıs, yükseltme yardımcı programı yalnızca xp'nin klasik temalarını çalıstırabiliyormus yani yükledigim yeni xp temaları(klasik xp simgeleri dısında)nı çalıstıramıyormus bende c:windıws/resources'deki temalar klasöründeki simgeleri kopyala/yerdegistir yöntemiyle temalerı yenilemeye çalıstım ama çalısmadı bir de çalısmayan bilgisayarımdaki uxtheme.dll ve themeui.dll yenileri yerdegistirmek istedigim de themeui.dll bilgisayrımda yokmus

acaba bilgisayarında uxtheme.dll ve themeui.dll yi bir aratabilir misin

diger bir kaynak ise "error code:3" yani Sistem belirtilen yolu bulamıyor. diyor

son kaynak ise tüm güvenlik yazılımlarını güncellestirip, güvenli modda sıkı bir taramaya gir diye tavsiye veriyor

baska kaynaklar da var ama ispanyolca oldugu için.....


ps:son zamanlarda bilgisayarına yeni temalar yükledin mi? mesela stylexp programı ile çünkü programın temaları yüzünden aynı sorunu birisi daha yasamıs
